I recently ventured to this Mongolian BBQ spot with my coworker during lunch, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! Initially, I was hit with a wave of anxiety as I stood before the buffet of endless ingredients, wondering if I'd manage to craft something edible. But once I overcame the pressure of bowl-filling strategy, I was rewarded with a meal that was nothing short of amazing. The flavors were on point, and knowing it was cooked up fresh right in front of me just made it that much better. For $15, you get to pile your bowl with as much as you can fit, which is great--just remember, you only get one shot at it, so it's not quite "all you can eat." But honestly, with how good everything tasted, one bowl was more than enough to satisfy. Overall, it was a deliciously fun lunch, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

I have frequented many Mongolian BBQ's in my 50 years of eating this wonderful dish but I must say it was a pleasure coming here. A pleasant greeting when you walk in is an unknown treat these days. They have a vast variety veggies to top your meats along with many extras. Very clean and quiet. The sauces were outstanding. I do draw your attention to the mixture of sauces before you add one or two of everything. The house sauce has a mixture of everything and can become spicy if mixed with the others. Read the chart on the wall to make your visit more palatable. The meal comes with delicious warm pockets and an excellent sweet and sour sauce for the pockets and wonton chips. These are at no cost. Honestly I think I have found our go to place from Chino Hills. This place is easy to find and not crowded with long lines. Drinks are under $3.00 and the syrup mix is perfect, that too is attention to detail for customers to take advantage of and it's served in a glass. Give these fine people a try, I guarantee you'll be back more than a few times. Thank for serving us.

All you can get Mongolian bbq. Signs inside say only one round, but you can also use multiple bowls, which I did, 1 for meats and one for the rest of the noodles and veggies. There are an array of sauce choices. It would be great if they put signs that say sauce recommendations. Other than that, you are your own chef. I did their house sauce and added a spoonful of teriyaki for sweetness. I recommend just drenching the whole bowl, do like 5-8 scoops. I had only done 3 scoops so could use more. Also but some oil or sauce on the meats so it can marinate when they cook it for you! Line goes fast inside, and everyone is nice. They give you crispy chips and sweet and sour sauce for an appetizer. I overheard a table asking for rice and soup. Even though there were no signs posted anywhere about them, I decided to ask about it and they gave us some free soup! It is a basic corn / starch soup. I like all the little free add-ons you can get. It is a bit pricy since it is all you can get but it would be good for lunch pricing! Parking lot does get full as it is tiny.

Amazing! So glad I found this place. Food was fresh. Place clean. Quick and friendly service, got it to go and a lot of food for the price I paid. Will definitely be back

There are new owners which is usually a bad thing. Not this time it was wonderful before but he got rid of a few items I liked. The new owner was pretty smart. I like lamb but I know it is expensive. Will they charge a few dollars if you want that. Great idea. Sometimes I want it, sometimes I do not. And they they brought back my favorite thing for my Mongolian plate, water chestnuts the old owner had discontinued them. They got a perfect score on the inspection. There were no violations. Which I understand because the place is always so clean and the staff is always working so hard. This is my favorite place to go. Second is Red Robin. In cypress. I live in Whittier. But. I do not mind driving. They are better than the local ones. I'm guessing that's him.

EM BBQ is definitely a hidden gem of the WCSGV. Tucked away in a shopping center off Grand Ave... Emperor Mongolian is definitely a must try if you are looking for an authentic food experience. The customer service is excellent and the food and sauces are so flavorful. The EM BBQ has made my Platinum List of must tries... I definitely recommend and definitely a loyal customer. My mom Twinkie absolutely loved her food... ate everything. Let me know what you think of your dining experience. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN!!

A hidden gem in West Covina! My family has been coming here for years, so much so that the staff remember their drink orders haha. This is a no-frills restaurant with quick service that doesn't disappoint. When you arrive, you seat yourself and are promptly provided with complimentary sesame bread and wonton strips with sweet and sour sauce. You only get one trip through the buffet, but they offer a good variety of protein, veggies, and sauces to create your own Mongolian BBQ bowls. The guys on the grill quickly serve up your food. They're really friendly and my family makes sure to tip them separately as well. If you have any leftovers, they can provide you with a to-go box. Overall, I truly have no complaints about this place. It's a local favorite that I look forward to visiting whenever I'm in SoCal.

I absolutely love Emperor Mongolian BBQ. I have been coming here for over 10 years now. The staff is really friendly and service oriented. For this trip I came at lunch where you only get one pass. I went with chicken, pork, and beef for my meats. Then I put onions, garlic, oil, cilantro, & noodles. Finishing up with the House sauce and the Kung Pao sauce. The meal also comes with this amazing bread, wonton's, & sweet and sour sauce. I break the bread open and make little sandwiches. I then top it off with the sweet-and-sour sauce and Sriracha. This is a must try if you are undecided.
